FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The short answers. A list still belongs on the quote form.
These are the questions purchasing actually sends. If the answer is “send the list,” that is the answer.
Buying
01 Do you have a shopping cart?
No. This site is a catalog and a quote desk. There is no checkout and no stored card.
02 How do I get a price?
Send a model or a list on Request a quote. We check distribution and reply in writing with pricing and lead time.
03 Why are there no prices on product pages?
A web price is not the same as a sourced configuration. Memory, warranty, licenses, and freight change the number. We print that number on the quote.
04 What should I send?
Manufacturer and model or SKU, quantity, and a ship-to city and ZIP. Locked images, vPro, and license terms go in notes.
05 Can I send a spreadsheet?
Yes. Paste it into the products field. One line per item is enough.
06 When do I use Contact instead of Request a quote?
Use Request a quote when you have SKUs, quantities, and a ship-to. Use Contact for an existing quote, a vendor question, or an order already placed.
Catalog
01 Do you stock every model on the site?
The catalog is families we quote, not a live warehouse feed. Availability is confirmed when we source the list.
02 Do you quote Palo Alto, SonicWall, and Fortinet?
Yes. PA-400 and PA-1400, TZ and NSa Gen 8, and FortiGate. Hardware and threat subscriptions are separate lines on the same quote.
03 Do you quote Supermicro?
Yes. SuperServer Hyper nodes are in the catalog. Send CPU, RAM, drives, and rails the same way you would for PowerEdge.
04 Does a Meraki switch or AP work without a license?
No. Meraki hardware without a license is incomplete. The term goes on the same quote as the box.
Licensing
01 Do you host Microsoft 365 or our tenant?
No. We quote the seats through distribution. Microsoft, Google, Adobe, or AWS run the tenant. We do not.
02 How does software licensing work?
Seats and terms are quoted as licenses, not as a cart mix. Send the plan name and the count. If the SKU already sits inside an E3 or E5 bundle, say so.
03 Do you quote Google Workspace and AWS?
Yes. Workspace is per seat. AWS is a distribution quote against the Organization, accounts, or spend you name. We do not host either.
04 Do you quote CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Bitdefender, and Veeam?
Yes. Those are seats or editions, not a cart mix. Send the plan name and the count. We do not run the console or the backup server.
Shipping
01 What is lead time?
Lead time is whatever distribution has for that configuration on the day we source it. It is printed on the quote, not on the product page.
02 Do you ship?
Yes, to the ship-to on the quote. Freight depends on ZIP, weight, and how the manufacturer ships that SKU.
03 How do returns work?
Returns follow the manufacturer and the terms on the quote. Open a box without reading that line and you may not have a return. Contact the desk with the quote number.
Channel
01 Are you an authorized partner for every logo on the wall?
We buy through authorized distribution for the lines we list. We do not stamp Gold, Titanium, or Premier on this site. If a bid needs a named authorization, put that in notes.
02 Can you quote a school or an agency?
Yes. Send the list and any contract or requisition number that has to appear on the quote. We will not invent a vehicle we do not have.
Quote desk
Still have a list?
Send it. The FAQ does not replace a quote.
