Process

How a quote works

This site does not take payment. The path is a list in, a quote out.

Process

List in, quote out

  1. Send the list

SKUs if you have them. Otherwise the model family, quantities, and a ship-to. A spreadsheet is fine. The form is Request a quote.

  2. We source it

We check distribution for the current configuration and lead time. That is not a website cart and it is not a promise that a page listing is in a warehouse.

  3. You get a quote

Written pricing and lead times, sent to the work email on the form. You decide whether to order. Nothing is billed from this page.

If you opened a product page, the model should already sit in the form. Add quantity and ZIP. If you have twenty lines, paste them. Do not split a floor refresh across twenty product pages.

What the quote names

A quote is a document. These five lines have to be on it or it is not a quote.

  1. Configuration

The exact build, not the family page. Memory, warranty, and licenses belong here.

  2. Quantity

Headcount, seats, or a node count. Split the line if the image is different.

  3. Ship-to

City and ZIP. Freight and tax change with the dock.

  4. Lead time

What distribution has the day we source it. Printed on the quote, not on the product page.

  5. Price

The number we can actually get. It is not sitting next to the model on this site.

What this site is not

  • Not a cart

There is no checkout, no stored card, and no public price next to a model.

  • Not a stock feed

Catalog pages are families we quote. Availability is confirmed when we source the list.

  • Not a host

We quote Microsoft, Google, Adobe, AWS, and endpoint seats. We do not host the tenant, the AWS account, or the Falcon console.
