How the buy actually happens

Send the last part number. If Dell or HP retired it, we quote the current equivalent and say so on the quote instead of swapping in silence. License true-ups sit on the same list when the seat count is known.

What we will not stamp

We do not claim SOC 2, PCI, or a financial-services certification because a bank is on the ship-to. Those are your programs. We quote the boxes and the seats.

The paperwork, not the SKU

The lock
Once the standard is a T14 or an EliteBook 840, the quote is that family. Alternatives belong in notes, not as a surprise.
Same build
CPU, RAM, and disk have to match the image. Send the last configuration if the part number changed.
